Record Online TV

These days most of the large TV companies make their content available to view online – its a really convenient way of catching up with your favorite shows if you happen to be busy and miss an episode.

Maybe you had to work late and missed that last important episode of ‘Lost’ or Greys Anatomy or whatever – it sucks when that happens, I know, it used to happen to me all the time.

The bad part about viewing tv shows online is that often most TV companies only make the episode available for a week or until the next one is screened – so you might not even get a chance to watch it again online at all!

I found a really simple way to record online TV shows, so now I don’t miss a thing. I can now keep an archive of all my favorite shows, and my wifes, to watch whenever we like, not just when the TV company shows them on their website.

I found a really good simple piece of software from a company called Applian Technologies that allows me to record ANYTHING streamed online – TV shows, radio, literally anything that is streamed their software can grab so I can keep it and watch or listen later.

Give it a try for yourself, you can even try a limited version before you buy it to make sure it works! (It does work by the way, I now have a whole archive of tv shows and news clips on my hard drive!)
